Mechanical Assembly Technician – Entry Level

MTA has several openings for all experience levels for this position. Starting pay ranges from $10.00 – $18.00 per hour depending on experience and capability, and may be adjusted by performance at 90-day review. Regardless of your experience level, you will receive all the training and opportunities necessary to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and install mechanical component parts, sub-assemblies, or completed units
• Entails sawing, tapping, drilling, and other mechanical tasks using hand tools, small power tools and other special equipment to complete tasks
• Receive detailed written and verbal instructions on all work
• Verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures
• Perform other tasks as needed, to complete project
• Work is performed in-house and at the customer’s site
• Operate a truck, crane, and forklift

Education

• High School or GED
• Technical School Diploma (or Certificate)
